Walking the walk
We are committed to following God's example of love through service. We believe that our faith is expressed through action, and we strive to make a tangible difference in the world. With opportunities to serve locally, domestically, and internationally, we strive to live in solidarity with those in need, realizing we all have much to learn from one another.
Food Insecure Breakfasts
Monthly at Washington Street UMC
One Saturday a month during the academic year, we meet at Washington Street UMC at 7 am to cook breakfast. We serve breakfast to those who are food insecure from 8-9 am. After serving, we clean up and are finished by around 10 am. All are welcome to serve and can join for all of part of the time. This is a great opportunity to bring friends!

We will announce dates for the 2025-2026 year in the coming months, so stay tuned for more details!

Spring Break
Service Trip
March 2026
Each spring break, we offer an opportunity to serve alongside and join in solidarity with our neighbors. For spring break 2025, we went to Spruce Pine, NC to support the Hurricane Helene relief effort. If you are looking for a way to serve and develop meaningful friendships, these trips are a great opportunity.
Keep an eye out for more details to come!
