Breakfast for the
Food Insecure

Sep 7, Oct 12, Nov 9, and Dec 7, 2024

at Washington Street UMC

We meet at Washington Street UMC at 7 am to begin cooking breakfast. We serve breakfast to those who are food insecure from 8-9 am. After serving, we clean up and are finished by around 10 am. All are welcome to serve and can join for all of part of the time. This is a great opportunity to bring friends!

Football Seat Sales

August 31 (Old Dominion)

October 5 (Ole Miss)

November 16 (Missouri)

Receive a free ticket to a USC football game and support the Methodist Student Network by helping sell football seats.

 

Arrive 2.5 hours before the game to sell seats. During the game, you are free to find a seat to watch! After the game, collect the seats. All friends and family are welcome to participate.

Spring Break
Service Trip

March 7-15, 2025 in Panajachel, Guatemala

All are welcome to join for a week-long transformative journey of solidarity with the people of Guatemala as we partner with Mission Guatemala. By participating in health, education, and nutrition initiatives, we'll gain a deeper understanding of Guatemalan culture and build lasting relationships with the community. Experience the power of collective action as we work with God to build a more just and equitable world.

 

The total cost for students is $900 with submission of a Dobson Grant application and $1,900 for non-students. Sign up below if you're interested in participating or would like to learn more.

May Service Trip

May 12-17, 2025 in Slidell, Louisiana

All are welcome for a meaningful week of service with the Epworth Project to Slidell, LA, across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans.

Be part of a vibrant community that's been making a lasting impact since Hurricane Katrina. The Epworth Project, a faith-based organization, is dedicated to restoring homes, empowering people, and changing lives. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects like home repairs, weatherization, and building handicap ramps. Experience the joy of serving others while deepening your faith and making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by disasters.
